Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH)

General: PNH is an ultra-rare, acquired, life-threatening disease of the blood. The disease is characterized by destruction of red blood cells (hemolytic anemia), blood clots (thrombosis), and impaired bone marrow function. Patients may suffer from anemia, easy bruising or bleeding.
N.B.: Life-threatening and fatal meningococcal infections have occurred in patients treated with Soliris® . Meningococcal infection may become rapidly life-threatening or fatal if not recognized and treated early.
