ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Keating is a general hematologist in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She is the lead for myelodysplastic syndrome research and is a member of the Canadian Consortium on MDS which runs a National prospective database to learn more about how patients with MDS in Canada are doing long-term. She is a medical member and part of the scientific advisory committee of the AAMAC. She has an interest in quality improvement and is the chair of their local tumor site group. She is also involved in medical education acting as the Adult Hematology Residency Program Director.
